Three days of advanced operational strategy, leadership frameworks, and real conversations about scaling a child care business in today's market. No fluff. No motivational theatre. Just the room where serious owners build structure that outlasts them.
"You can have a successful business without giving up your life and your income."
Evelyn Knight is the CEO and founder of Child Care Business Professionals, a 2× TEDx speaker, host of The Child Care Business Coach podcast, and the force behind a movement that has helped over 1,000 operators rebuild their businesses from the inside out.
She's been a successful operator for more than a decade herself — which means everything she teaches has been tested against her own P&L first. Her work centers on the same problem every founder-led business eventually runs into: how do you build something that runs without you, without losing what made it yours in the first place?
The answer is the same whether you run a child care center, an agency, a medical practice, or a service business of any kind — and it's the operating architecture Evelyn walks the room through over three days.
Every session is built around implementation. You won't go home with a notebook full of ideas you never use — you'll leave with frameworks you install inside your business the week you return.
Install the execution architecture that removes chaos — so your team stops asking you the same ten questions every week.
Manage and retain the team you actually have, not the one you wish you had. Practical models for accountability, expectations, and culture.
Interview systems, onboarding sequences, and retention strategy designed for service businesses that live and die by their staff.
Read your own P&L like an operator, not a bookkeeper. Know which numbers matter and which ones are noise.
Dashboards, scorecards, and reporting rhythms that give you the full picture in fifteen minutes a week — without micromanaging.
Delegation, role clarity, and decision-rights frameworks that let you step out of the day-to-day without the business collapsing.
The infrastructure that makes the next location, the next hire, the next expansion an execution problem — not a crisis.
The room is the curriculum. You'll leave with a handful of operator relationships that outlast any single session in the program.
Before you leave, you'll have a written, prioritized rollout map — not a wish list. Real deadlines. Real first moves.
Past attendees, past operators, past the skepticism. These are the owners who walked into the room and walked out with a different business.
I walked in thinking I needed more leads. I walked out realizing I had no operating structure. That shift alone changed my next two years.
This isn't a pep rally. The conversations at dinner were worth the entire investment. I came home and restructured my leadership team within 30 days.
I've been to a dozen conferences. CCBP is the only one where I actually implemented what I learned. The room is different. The outcomes are real.
CCBP Summit is deliberately small. The venue holds roughly 100 seats, and we fill them with operators — not tire-kickers. That's the difference between a conference you forget and a room that reshapes your next five years.
The sessions matter. The between-sessions matter more. Lunch conversations turn into partnerships. Evening walks turn into advisory relationships. This is proximity to serious operators — by design.
Gallery A · 2700 Capitol Avenue, Midtown Sacramento. An intentionally intimate performance space chosen because capacity is a feature, not a constraint.
Most owners can name what's broken. Fewer can name why it keeps breaking. Day One is the honest look — the bottlenecks, the blind spots, the decisions and habits that feel like leadership but are quietly costing you. You'll leave with a different read on your own business, and a clear picture of what the next two days have to fix.
Evelyn Knight leads the main session at 9 AM. The rest of the day is deep work: systems, leadership, team structure, and hiring. Working sessions — not lectures.
Build your 90-day rollout map in a room of operators who get it. You don't leave with notes. You leave with a plan, a deadline, and a circle of people who understand the work ahead of you.
Self-selection is part of the design. The investment is intentional. The room is intentional. If the description below reads like your life, you're in the right place.
Access to strategy. Access to the right operators. Access to the room your business needs you in. One strategic decision from the right room can change the next five years of your business.
Full three-day access to the curated room. Designed for serious operators ready to install real structure in their business.
Everything in standard admission — plus the conversations, access, and implementation time that happen around the main room, where the real shifts get made.

One strategic decision from the right room can change the next five years of your business.
The most common questions from past attendees and prospective operators. If yours isn't here, reach out — we answer every inquiry personally before registration.
CCBP Summit is built for established child care business owners, multi-site operators, founders, CEOs, and leadership teams doing roughly $250K – $10M+ in annual revenue. The room is service-based: child care centers, preschools, learning academies, and related operators who are past the startup phase and are now building real infrastructure.
If you lead a team and carry P&L responsibility, this is your room.
Honestly — no. If you're pre-revenue, pre-team, or still in the "getting the doors open" phase, you'll get more out of community-based operator groups or startup resources. The material here assumes you already have a business, a team, and a P&L.
Come to us when you're ready to install the operating system behind what you've built.
Standard Summit Access includes all three days (June 25–27, 2026) hosted by Evelyn Knight, every strategy and leadership workshop, implementation sessions, peer networking, summit materials, and refreshments throughout the event at the venue.
VIP Executive Access adds front-row reserved seating, a private VIP dinner with Evelyn the evening before Day One, a small-group breakout with Evelyn, priority Q&A and hot-seat access during main sessions, a half-day bonus intensive exclusive to VIP attendees, and a dedicated implementation session to build your plan — not just learn the theory.
Lodging is not included in your ticket. We've negotiated preferred-rate blocks at several Midtown Sacramento hotels walking distance from The Sofia, and you'll receive the booking codes via email within 48 hours of registration.
VIP Executive Access attendees receive first priority on the headquarters hotel block.
Bring a laptop or tablet, a current P&L (or the most recent financials you're comfortable referencing), your current org chart, and an honest list of what isn't working in your operation. The Day Three implementation session is built around real numbers and real structures — not hypotheticals.
Executive-casual dress. Sacramento in late June is warm — plan accordingly.
Yes — and many of our strongest results come from operators who bring a COO, director of operations, or leadership team member. Teams of two or more qualify for reduced per-seat pricing. Contact us directly before registering to unlock team rates.
Yes. You can reserve your seat with a $300 deposit and split the remaining balance into three monthly installments. Payment plans must be selected at checkout and are finalized before the summit begins.
VIP Executive Access also qualifies for a deposit-and-plan structure.
All registrations are non-refundable. The investment secures your seat in a capped 100-seat room, and once reserved, that seat is off the table for every other operator considering it.
If something unexpected prevents you from attending, you may transfer your seat to another operator at no charge. Please reach out to us directly to arrange the transfer.
Three things. First, the room — we cap at 100 operators, not 1,000. You'll actually know people by Day Two. Second, the focus — every session is implementation-first. You don't leave with inspiration; you leave with installed systems. Third, the honesty — faculty deliver the conversations most conferences avoid. Real numbers. Real failures. Real frameworks.
This is a working room, not a stage.
We'll send you the full summit agenda, host announcements, and early access when we release the 2027 dates. We do not spam. We do not share your information.
The businesses that grow fastest are led by people willing to get in the right rooms. CCBP Summit is that room. Seats are limited. The conversations are high-level. The outcomes are real.
