CCBP Summit 2026 — Ticket Purchase Agreement and No-Refund Acknowledgment

By completing my registration for CCBP Summit 2026 ("the Summit"), I, the undersigned ("Purchaser"), acknowledge and agree to the following terms with Child Care Business Professionals, LLC ("CCBP").

1. Event Details

Event: CCBP Summit 2026

Dates: June 25–27, 2026

Location: B Street Theatre ("The Sofia"), 2700 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95816

2. Acknowledgment of Non-Refundable Purchase

I acknowledge and agree that all ticket purchases for CCBP Summit 2026 are final and non-refundable, regardless of:

My personal change of mind

Scheduling conflicts that arise after purchase

Personal, family, medical, or business circumstances that prevent attendance

Travel disruptions, including flight cancellations, weather, or transportation issues

My inability to obtain time off from work

My decision not to attend any portion of the Summit

Any dissatisfaction with the content, format, speakers, venue, or experience

I understand the investment secures my seat in a capped 100-seat room, and once reserved, that seat is unavailable to other operators.

3. Seat Transfer Option

If circumstances prevent me from attending, I may transfer my seat to another qualified attendee at no additional cost, subject to the following:

Written transfer requests must be submitted to CCBP at least 14 days before the event start date (by June 11, 2026)

The transferee must meet the same qualifications as a registered attendee

All transfers must be approved in writing by CCBP

Transfers cannot be made after the deadline above

4. Credit Toward Future Events

CCBP is not obligated to offer credit toward future events but may, at its sole discretion, extend credit in cases of documented emergency. Any such credit is granted as a courtesy, not a right, and is non-transferable and non-refundable.

5. Event Cancellation by CCBP

In the unlikely event CCBP cancels the Summit in its entirety, registrants will be offered either:

A full refund of the ticket price paid, or

Credit toward a future CCBP event of equal value

CCBP is not liable for travel costs, lodging, time off work, or any other related expenses incurred by registrants.

6. Force Majeure

CCBP is not responsible for delays, postponements, or cancellations resulting from events outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, severe weather, acts of God, government action, public health emergencies, pandemics, terrorism, civil unrest, venue closure, or any other unforeseeable circumstance. In such cases, CCBP may at its discretion reschedule the event, offer a virtual alternative, or provide credit toward a future event. No cash refunds will be issued for force majeure events.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

I agree NOT to initiate a chargeback, payment dispute, or refund request through my credit card company, bank, or payment processor. I understand that filing a chargeback in violation of this agreement may result in:

The chargeback being contested with documentation of this agreement

Forfeiture of any seat transfer or credit option

Collection of any associated fees, legal costs, and attorney's fees

If I have a concern, I agree to contact CCBP directly at support@childcarebusinessprofessionals.com to seek resolution before pursuing any external dispute.

8. Payment Plans

If I selected a payment plan, I understand and agree that:

All scheduled payments are non-refundable once made

Failure to complete remaining payments may result in cancellation of my registration without refund of payments already made

I am responsible for all payments through the agreed-upon payment schedule, regardless of attendance

9. Personal Responsibility

I acknowledge that I am personally responsible for:

All travel arrangements and associated costs (flights, ground transportation, parking)

All lodging and accommodation costs

All meals not explicitly provided as part of the Summit

Any personal items, equipment, or materials I bring to the event

CCBP is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property at the event.

10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under this agreement shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Sacramento County, California.

11. Entire Agreement

This document, together with my registration confirmation, represents the entire agreement between Purchaser and CCBP regarding ticket purchase, refunds, and attendance. No verbal representations or prior understandings modify these terms. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
